So Redken have a new product out called Sheer Straight 06 and it’s designed for people with fine hair. It comes in a nice packaging and everything but does it do the job it’s supposed to. A lot of people have fine hair that simply doesn’t hold styles because it’s too “fly away” and this can cause some problems even for something as simple as straightening.
Does this product do the job? Well, yes it does. It’s a light weight gel that doesn’t make your hair greasy or anything and it’s designed to be put onto damp hair. After you’ve applied the product you’re then supposed to blow dry your hair and straighten it with hot irons if you want to. If you use just a blow dryer you’ll get a nice natural straight style and if you use straighteners you’ll get a super sleek and straight finish.
This product certainly does what it’s supposed to and considering the price, it’s actually very good value for money. The pot is about 100ml and is about £10-15 depending on where you buy it from and to be honest, although that may seem a lot – you only use a tiny amount each time so it does last and you do get your money’s worth.
Redken do a great range of products and this straightening gel isn’t the only one that’s worth the purchase. You can find a great range of their products on the web but make sure that you only buy from a Redken approved dealer because like other beauty products on the market, there could be fakes around.
The thing that impresses people the most about this product is the fact that it’s so light weight – a lot of gels for fine hair are too greasy and leave a horrible grease on your hair after styling. This one doesn’t do that and that’s probably why it’s so popular at the moment.
If you style your hair a lot and you’re finding it hard to get the straight look you want then you should definitely consider Redken. Their products are really good and they have a lot of different styling ranges available at the moment. redken acidic bonding
